International Childrens Olympiad concludes at CMS

Lucknow, August 13 : The 4-day International Children's Olympiad, organized by City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II, concluded today with a grand ceremony at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. The event began with an insightful address by Dr. Bharti Gandhi, Founder-Director of CMS. In her speech, Dr. Gandhi urged the younger generation to rise above distinctions of race, colour, language, and religion, and actively contribute to the establishment of global unity and peace. She emphasized that this Olympiad is not just an educational competition but also a mission to promote world unity and peace by fostering a sense of brotherhood among the future generation. Encouraging the participating students, she remarked that all participants are winners because each of them has learned something new. It is noteworthy that the International Children's Olympiad was organized by CMS Aliganj Campus II from 10th to 13th August at the CMS Kanpur Road Auditorium, where around 500 students from Nepal, Sri Lanka, and various states of India showcased their multifaceted talents in various interesting and knowledge-enhancing competitions.

          In the Olympiad, the student team from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Nagpur, won the first prize in Wordless Wonders (Dance and Music competition), displaying their outstanding talent. Meanwhile, National English School, Kolkata, secured the first position in the Wordy Muse (Poetry Recitation) competition. Similarly, in the Re Magica (art exhibition), Sunshine Public School, Ghazipur and Jaycees Public School, Rudrapur, jointly secured the first position. In the Tintinnabulation (Jingles) competition, City International School and National English School, Kolkata, were declared joint winners. The concluding and prize distribution ceremony of the International Children's Olympiad was a grand affair filled with enthusiasm and joy. On this occasion, Mrs. Samvida Adhikari, the Convener of the Olympiad and Principal of CMS Aliganj Campus II, said that this festival has been successful in not only nurturing the talents of the young generation but also in developing a humanitarian and spiritual outlook among them.

CMS teachers honoured with Gold Medals at International Teachers Olympiad

Lucknow, February 10 : Four teachers of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II, namely Ms. Shweta Pathania Mishra, Ms. Tanushree Rastogi, Ms. Deepti Mehrotra, and Ms. Ritu Gupta have been awarded Gold Medals and Certificates of Proficiency for their exceptional teaching skills and professional excellence. These CMS teachers achieved this distinction based on their outstanding performance in the International CREST Teacher Olympiad.
