Parents overwhelmed witnessing the sports talents of students

Lucknow August 29:  To celebrate National Sports Day on the birthday of legendary Hockey player, Major Dhyan Chand, City Montessori School, Asharfabad Campus organized its 'Sports Day' today in the school premises. Olympian, Athlete and Divisional Chief Ticket Inspector in the Railways, Shri Gulab Chand was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Ranji Trophy Cricketer Shri Saheb Yuvraj Singh  was the Special Guest. Parents and guardians were overwhelmed witnessing the bubbling sports talent among the children. Students delivered the message of India Fit and Young through various sporting competitions. The event began with the school prayer which was followed by a terrific race for medals in various sporting competitions in which the students displayed their hidden talents in various games and sports. While students of Classes III to V participated in Zig Zag Race, Class II students participated in the Partner Race and Montessori Class students participated in the Obstacle Race. Head of Communications, CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna said that the programme concluded with prize distribution with students exhibiting a sense of camaraderie, skill and love for sports. The winners in various sports fixtures received medals, certificates and attractive prizes.

Principal of CMS Asharfabad, Mrs Anupama Checker said on this occasion that physical strength and stamina is best developed through sports and this is just as important as mental health. Events like these help in developing qualities of good sportsmanship, self-confidence and mutual cooperation leading to all-round progress of students, she said.

Lucknow, March 5 : City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus, successfully organized the grand ‘Divine Education Conference’ today at the school auditorium. Four bright CMS scholars win Gold Medals in Mathematics competition

  Lucknow, September 23 : Four brilliant students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II namely Siddhi Dwivedi, Yati Verma, Dwani Shukla and Abhinav Verma displayed profound knowledge of mathematics and won gold medals in Abacus competition bringing laurels to their school. The competition was organized by Brain Mantra, an Abacus and Vedic Math Learning Institute. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma.
