Workshop for CMS drivers to raise awareness on Road Safety and Traffic Rules

Lucknow, 14 August : City Montessori School in collaboration with the Traffic Department, organized a special workshop to raise awareness on road safety and traffic rules at the auditorium of CMS Gomti Nagar Extension Campus. Nearly 100 school drivers participated enthusiastically in this workshop. The workshop was organized keeping in mind the safety and convenience of students, ensuring that all CMS drivers remain aware and committed to the safe transportation of students while strictly adhering to traffic rules. This information was given by the CMS Public Relations Officer, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr. Khanna informed that Traffic Inspector Mr. Jaiveer Singh graced the occasion and thoroughly briefed the CMS drivers on the precautions and guidelines related to traffic rules and road safety. On this occasion, Mr. Jaiveer Singh also addressed the queries raised by the drivers, resolving their doubts.

          The workshop discussed critical aspects of road safety, including the latest traffic regulations, safe driving techniques and the importance of adhering to speed limits. Additionally, various important topics such as driver behavior towards children, the importance of vehicle maintenance, overspeeding, precautions during the monsoon season, availability of first aid kits, safety measures while boarding and alighting young children and girls from vehicles, avoiding the use of mobile phones while driving and the consumption of paan masala were discussed in detail and necessary guidelines were provided to the drivers. A special feature of the workshop was the detailed information provided on the POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) and POCSO Act. At the end of the workshop, Mrs. Shuchi Gupta, Head of the CMS Transport Department, extended heartfelt thanks to Mr. Jaiveer Singh, stating that CMS is always alert and vigilant regarding the safety of its students. She mentioned that this workshop proved to be extremely beneficial for all the drivers.

Outstanding performance of Akriti Singh of CMS in NEET 2024

Lucknow, June 5: Students of City Montessori School have yet again recorded huge success in the NEET Exams 2024 with as many as 96 of them securing place above the cut off percentage on the national merit list and becoming eligible for admission to top Medical Colleges of India. Among these, Akriti Singh of CMS Kanpur Road Campus scored 701 marks out of a total of 720 marks and secured All India Rank 1597 bringing laurels to the school. 18 CMS students secured 99 percentile and above marks in the aforesaid exam creating history yet again. CMS students win 124 medals including 31 golds in Singapore Maths Challenge

Lucknow, February 14 : The brilliant students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I, have brought glory to Lucknow on the international stage by winning a total of 124 medals, including 31 Gold, 26 Silver, and 67 Bronze medals, in the prestigious Singapore Maths Challenge Olympiad. This international competition witnessed the participation of 36,309 students from 22 countries. Despite the intense competition, CMS students achieved the highest number of medals, showcasing their exceptional talent.
