CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I organizes Robotics Championship

Lucknow, October 25 : The grand opening of the two-day Inter-school Robotics Championship, hosted by City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I, took place today in the school auditorium. The event was inaugurated amidst scintillating educational and cultural items by the Chief Guest, Dr. G.K. Goswami, ADGP and Director of UP State Institute of Forensic Sciences. The event was graced by distinguished figures from the fields of science, education, and literature, including Dr. Arif Siddiqui, General Manager of ISRO Telemetry, Tracking, and Command Network, who added to the grandeur of the ceremony with their presence. This Robotics Championship, organized in association with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and IIT Delhi, has brought together 27 selected student teams from renowned schools across the country.

      In his address, the Chief Guest Dr. G.K. Goswami emphasized the importance of a humanitarian approach in this era of scientific progress, technological advancement, and artificial intelligence. Encouraging the students, he said that they are the most advanced and exceptional creation of the Almighty, and as such, the responsibility of building a new society lies on the shoulders of the younger generation. Dr. Goswami praised CMS for nurturing the talents of the youth while shaping them into ideal citizens of society. Guest of Honour, Dr. Arif Siddiqui wished all the participating students a bright future and encouraged the young generation to utilize their knowledge, creativity, and talent for noble causes. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon warmly welcomed the participants from various states, saying that this Robotics Championship offers a golden opportunity for budding scientists to showcase their scientific knowledge and multifaceted skills, which will inspire not only the participants but also other students toward advanced technology. Mrs. Abha Anant, Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, extended heartfelt thanks to the participating student teams and the distinguished guests.

Four bright CMS scholars win Gold Medals in Mathematics competition

  Lucknow, September 23 : Four brilliant students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II namely Siddhi Dwivedi, Yati Verma, Dwani Shukla and Abhinav Verma displayed profound knowledge of mathematics and won gold medals in Abacus competition bringing laurels to their school.
