CMS student wins Silver Medal inQueen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition

Lucknow, October 21: Abhiraj Pratap Singh Negi, a talented Class VIII student of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I, has brought pride to Lucknow by winning the Silver Medal in the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition held at the international level. This competition was organized under the aegis of the Royal Commonwealth Society, London in which students from over 60 countries participated. This information was given by Mr. Rishi Khanna, Head, Communications, CMS. Mr. Khanna informed that in this international essay competition, Abhiraj presented his innovative thoughts on environmental issues, the role of youth leadership and gender equality and encouraged young people to bring out positive change considering new perspectives. He also outlined an ideal world order and suggested peaceful and innovative methods for resolving global problems. The Royal Commonwealth Society, London, praised Abhiraj's writing style and his global humanistic and scientific perspective, awarding him the Silver Medal and a Certificate of Commendation. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon while expressing her happiness wished him a bright future ahead.Mr Khanna informed that CMS students are not just excelling in academics, but they are also making their mark in other extra-curricular fields, bringing fame to the institution. This is solely because holistic education is imparted at CMS, which includes Material, Human and Divine education.

Lucknow, 10 February : Tiny tots of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus spread the colours of unity in diversity at the Sports Day of their Campus held here today at the Northern Railway Stadium in Charbagh, Lucknow.
