CMS Students win 5 Medals including 3 Golds in Roller Skating Competition

Lucknow, 18 November : Talented students of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus, brought glory to the school by winning 3 gold medals and 2 bronze medals in a Roller Skating Competition organized under the aegis of the Uttar Pradesh Roller Skating Association (UPRSA). In this competition, Hammad Afsar, a Class 12 student, won two gold medals in the 500m and 1000m events, while Mohammad Isa, a KG student, secured a gold medal in the 400m event. Similarly, Manika Singh, a Class 8 student, showcased her talent by winning two bronze medals in the 100m and 500m events. This information was given by Mr. Rishi Khanna, Head, Communications, CMS. Mr. Khanna informed that students from several prestigious schools in Lucknow displayed their sporting prowess during the competition. However, CMS students stood out with their impressive display of balance, mental resilience, and lightning-fast agility, winning five medals, including three golds, despite intense competition. The CMS participants demonstrated remarkable skills in roller control, speed management, mental balance, agility, and strength throughout the event. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, congratulated these talented students and wished them a bright future.

            Mr. Khanna added that CMS believes that both academics and sports are essential for the holistic development of students to make them ‘good’ and ‘smart.’ For this purpose, CMS encourages its students to participate in various sports competitions, which is why CMS students are making their school proud not only in academics but also in sports and other fields at national and international levels.

CMS tableau to give the message of respect for all religionsat this years Republic Day parade

  Lucknow, January 8 : The CMS tableau to be taken out this Republic Day, on 26th January will give the message of ‘Respect for all religions’ to the general public. Mayor applauds the multi-faceted talents of CMS students in Radio programme

  Lucknow, July 29 : Students of various CMS campuses presented educational radio programmes from the Community Radio Station of City Montessori School on the occasion of National Broadcasting Day. Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia who was the chief guest on the occasion, while applauding the performance of CMS students, said that they are making the city proud with their multi-faceted talents besides their academic excellence.
