Young athletes spread the message of ‘Fit and Young India'

Lucknow, December 20 : The two-day Inter-school Sports fest ‘Fun-a-thon’, organized by City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I, commenced today on a grand scale at the school’s sports ground. Students from Montessori to Grade 2 across various noted schools of Lucknow enthusiastically participated in diverse sports events, showcasing agility, strength, and skills while spreading the message of ‘Fit and Young India ’. On the other hand, the inauguration ceremony won hearts with the students’ educational and cultural performances. The event was inaugurated by Chief Guests, Ms. Suman Devi, an international athlete and Custom Superintendent, Govt of India, and Mrs. Chitra Venkatraman, Co-Founder and Director, ATIPL. Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Ms. Suman Devi emphasized the importance of sports in instilling high moral values in the younger generation. She expressed confidence that the sports fest would play a significant role in nurturing qualities like discipline, patience, and teamwork among children. Mrs. Chitra Venkataraman also delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging the young athletes to pursue excellence.

            The program began with an All-Religion and World Peace Prayer, promoting the message of global unity and peace. A series of vibrant educational and cultural performances left the audience spellbound. Following the inaugural session, the scheduled competitions for the day kicked off. Young athletes competed fervently for top positions in various events. Montessori students demonstrated their skills in Sack n Stack, Nursery students showcased agility in Hoop-a-Loop, and KG students impressed with Tricky Trio Race, among other exciting races. The enthusiasm of the young participants was infectious, while the audience cheered and applauded to boost their morale.

CMS tableau to give the message of respect for all religionsat this years Republic Day parade

Mayor applauds the multi-faceted talents of CMS students in Radio programme

  Lucknow, July 29 : Students of various CMS campuses presented educational radio programmes from the Community Radio Station of City Montessori School on the occasion of National Broadcasting Day. Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia who was the chief guest on the occasion, while applauding the performance of CMS students, said that they are making the city proud with their multi-faceted talents besides their academic excellence. The students utilized the occasion to put several questions to the mayor, who also participated in the live programme.
