Young delegates of 7 countries bring alive the spirit of ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam’

Lucknow, December 31 : A 23-day International Children’s Camp has commenced under the aegis of City Montessori School, where young delegates from 7 countries, including Australia, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Japan, Norway, and India, are living together under one roof, bringing to life the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (The World is One Family). This camp, being held from 27 December 2024 to 18 January 2025, features delegations of four children aged 11 to 12 years from each participating country, accompanied by their group leaders. Additionally, junior counselors aged 16 to 17 years are also participating to ensure smooth organization and effective communication among the students. This information was given by Mr. Rishi Khanna, Head, Communications, CMS. Mr. Khanna highlighted that the purpose of bringing together children from diverse cultures, languages, civilizations, and traditions in such an international camp is to nurture the tender hearts of young children with the values of brotherhood, world peace, and global unity.

            Mr. Khanna informed that the camp has been named ‘Humming Village’, where numerous creative activities promoting global unity and peace will be organized. These activities aim to instill global values in the children while fostering intercultural understanding. This camp is truly a multilingual, multicultural, and multinational event that will help forge deep bonds among children from various countries. In a highly creative and encouraging environment, children will not only freely express their thoughts but also learn about and appreciate each other’s cultures, traditions, and customs. This International Children’s Camp indeed offers a glimpse of a miniature world.

            Mr. Khanna added that such international children’s camps are organized worldwide under the auspices of the Children’s International Summer Villages (CISV), a UK-based organization. In this series, CMS is hosting the 29th International Children’s Camp. CMS is providing all necessary facilities for the participating children, including accommodation, meals, sports activities, visits to historical sites, medical care, and more.

CMS students win 12 medals including 4 Gold in Bhartiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha

Lucknow, February 18: Students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II brought pride to the institution by securing 12 medals including 4 Gold, 4 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals in the prestigious Bhartiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha organized by Gayatri Teerth, Shantikunj, Haridwar. Lucknow, March 5 : City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus, successfully organized the grand ‘Divine Education Conference’ today at the school auditorium.
