City girl makes it to world's 6th ranked university: UCL

Lucknow, February 28 : Aarna Chopra, a brilliant student of City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus, has brought international recognition to Lucknow by securing admission to the highly prestigious University College London (UCL) for higher education in Medical Science. UCL holds the distinguished rank of No. 6 globally in the field of Medical Science, making this achievement truly remarkable. Aarna has earned this outstanding success through her knowledge, intelligence and academic excellence. She has attributed her success to her teachers and the peaceful academic environment of her school. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon while expressed her joy over this accomplishment and extended her best wishes for Aarna’s bright future. She also expressed gratitude to the Principal and teachers of the school. Prof. Kingdon added, "Being an Emeritus Professor at UCL myself, I know there is intense competition among students worldwide for securing a UCL admission."             Mr. Khanna stated that Aarna recently completed an internship at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), the world's largest nuclear research laboratory in Switzerland, bringing great pride to Lucknow on the global stage. For this prestigious scientific research internship, only 30 emerging scientists were selected from around the world, with Aarna Chopra from CMS being the only representative from India. During this internship, Aarna gained invaluable experience in medical applications.

            Mr. Khanna further stated that CMS serves as a center for SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) and Advanced Placement (AP) tests, providing students from Uttar Pradesh and neighboring states the opportunity to gain admission to the world’s best universities with scholarships for higher education. He further added that each year, a large number of CMS students have got admission offers from top universities in the world including Ivy League universities. This year, uptill now, over 50  CMS students have secured admissions on handsome scholarship in some of the best universities of USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and Germany like Cambridge University, California Institute of Technology (CalTech), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University, Cornell University, Melbourne University, National University of Singapore and others.

  Lucknow, January 8 : The CMS tableau to be taken out this Republic Day, on 26th January will give the message of ‘Respect for all religions’ to the general public. Mayor applauds the multi-faceted talents of CMS students in Radio programme

  Lucknow, July 29 : Students of various CMS campuses presented educational radio programmes from the Community Radio Station of City Montessori School on the occasion of National Broadcasting Day. Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia who was the chief guest on the occasion, while applauding the performance of CMS students, said that they are making the city proud with their multi-faceted talents besides their academic excellence.
