CMS student wins two Gold in Karate Championship

Lucknow, February 3 : Arnav Pandey, a talented student of Class 7 from City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II, has brought glory to the school by winning two gold medals in the 2nd Inter-School Wado-Kai Karate Championship. In this championship, Arnav secured gold medals in the Individual Kata and Individual Kumite competitions in the above 70 kg weight category. The championship was organized under the aegis of the Wado-Kai Karate Association, Uttar Pradesh, at Saraswati Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Aliganj, Lucknow. This information was given by Mr. Rishi Khanna, Head, Communications, CMS. He mentioned that students from various prestigious schools participated in this championship, showcasing their karate skills with great enthusiasm. Despite tough competition, this talented CMS student demonstrated his athletic prowess, agility, skill, and strength to win two gold medals, signaling his potential to make a mark at national and international levels. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon extended her best wishes for the bright future of this promising young athlete.Mr Khanna informed that excellence at CMS is not just limited to academics. CMS students are also making their mark at national and international level in sports, music, dance, and various other fields. CMS students give a strong message of Family Unityon Valentines Day

Lucknow, February 14 : The 58,000 students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School,led by their respective Principals gave a strong message of ‘Family Unity’ by celebrating St Valentine’s Martyrdom Day, as ‘Family Unity Day’. In this series, CMS Rajajipuram Campus II organized 'Family Unity Day' at its well decorated school premises.
