Parents and teachers should instill a sense of equality among children — Smt. Baby Rani Maurya, Cabinet Minister, Women Welfare, UP

Lucknow, March 8 : Speaking at the Divine Education Conference organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus I at the school premises, the Chief Guest, Smt. Baby Rani Maurya, Cabinet Minister for Women Welfare, Child Development, and Nutrition, UP, urged parents and teachers to instill a sense of equality among children. She emphasized that fostering gender equality from childhood will benefit not only families but also society as a whole. Praising CMS, she stated that the school is shaping its students into ideal citizens by providing them with balanced and purposeful education. She also extended her heartfelt wishes on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Earlier, the Chief Guest formally inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp of learning.

        Welcoming the Chief Guest and other distinguished guests, CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon highlighted that active participation of women in social structures is essential for the constructive progress of society. Educating a girl benefits not just the family but has a profound positive impact on the entire society and the world. She further emphasized that CMS has been at the forefront of women empowerment for decades.

        On this occasion, students of the school mesmerized the audience with their soul-stirring devotional songs, leaving parents deeply moved. The event commenced with an All-Religion and
World Unity Prayer, followed by a series of colorful educational and cultural performances. Through their impressive presentations in music, dance, and drama, the students not only showcased their intellectual and artistic abilities but also beautifully reflected the moral, ethical, and spiritual education imparted at CMS. Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Nisha Pandey, Senior Principal of CMS Rajajipuram Campus I, emphasized the importance of such events in the holistic development of children. She also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the parents for their unwavering support.

Lucknow, February 18: Students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II brought pride to the institution by securing 12 medals including 4 Gold, 4 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals in the prestigious Bhartiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha organized by Gayatri Teerth, Shantikunj, Haridwar.
