The foundation of values must be laid in school and home -Dr Jagdish Gandhi

Lucknow, 27 February : City Montessori School, Indira Nagar campus organized a ‘Divine Education Conference’ in the school premises today. Addressing the audience on this occasion, CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that the foundation of values must be laid in school and home as the environment in school and family has maximum effect on the mind and body of the child. Dr Gandhi further said that although it is the responsibility of the home, society, and school to make the child, a lighthouse of the society, however, the effect of the school and the home environment is more on the children. As a result of these ideas, CMS provides a holistic education including education of unity, peace, harmony, and values to its students from the very beginning.

               Earlier, the ‘Divine Education Conference’ commenced with the customary school prayer, all religion prayer, and lighting of the lamp. On this occasion, the students enthralled the audience with their soulful rendition of devotional music and songs in praise of the Almighty. The students not only displayed their versatile talents but also gave a glimpse of the moral and spiritual education and values being imparted in the school. The students surprised the parents by expressing their views on values of life, global thinking, service to the world, and excellence in all subjects. The students who excelled in various competitions were specially felicitated and awarded during the conference.

               Principal of CMS Indira Nagar, Mrs Ruchi Bhuwan Joshi delivered a vote of thanks to all the eminent guests and parents for the successful conduct of the conference and said that CMS is committed to making its students a total quality person through their all-round development.

CMS tableau to give the message of respect for all religionsat this years Republic Day parade

  Lucknow, January 8 : The CMS tableau to be taken out this Republic Day, on 26th January will give the message of ‘Respect for all religions’ to the general public. Mayor applauds the multi-faceted talents of CMS students in Radio programme

  Lucknow, July 29 : Students of various CMS campuses presented educational radio programmes from the Community Radio Station of City Montessori School on the occasion of National Broadcasting Day. Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia who was the chief guest on the occasion, while applauding the performance of CMS students, said that they are making the city proud with their multi-faceted talents besides their academic excellence.
