Lucknow, 27 February : City Montessori
School, Indira Nagar campus organized a ‘Divine Education Conference’ in the
school premises today. Addressing the audience on this occasion, CMS Founder,
Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that the foundation
of values must be laid in school and home as the environment in school and
family has maximum effect on the mind and body of the child. Dr Gandhi further
said that although it is the responsibility of the home, society, and school to
make the child, a lighthouse of the society, however, the effect of the school
and the home environment is more on the children. As a result of these ideas,
CMS provides a holistic education including education of unity, peace, harmony,
and values to its students from the very beginning.

commenced with the customary school prayer, all religion prayer, and lighting
of the lamp. On this occasion, the students enthralled the audience with their
soulful rendition of devotional music and songs in praise of the Almighty. The
students not only displayed their versatile talents but also gave a glimpse of
the moral and spiritual education and values being imparted in the school. The
students surprised the parents by expressing their views on values of life,
global thinking, service to the world, and excellence in all subjects. The
