Meaningful education can bring a positive change in society — Dr Jagdish Gandhi, renowned educationist and Founder, CMS

Lucknow, 27 March : Addressing the 'Divine Education Conference' organized  by City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium, the Founder of CMS and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that meaningful education can bring a positive change in society. It is high time now that we utilize education as a forceful tool to transform the society. The purpose of education is not just to provide bookish knowledge but sow the wise thoughts in young minds so that they utilise their energy in upliftment and betterment of society. Dr Gandhi said that modern education should aim at spreading the message of 'unity of hearts' across the globe.

            Earlier, the 'Divine Education Conference' began with lighting the lamp ceremony at CMS Kanur Road auditorium. Not just the students but their mothers also participated enthusiastically in the songs and dance programmes keeping the audience enthralled. The 'Divine Education Conference', succeeded in involving parents in the school activities. The high scorers at various contests and first rank holders of the annual examination were awarded prizes.

            Addressing the huge gathering of audience on this occasion, the Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I, Mrs Jayashree Krishnan said that good education makes a good society. A well cultured and peaceful atmosphere at home and school can develop children into balanced persons leading them to the right direction.

Lucknow, February 18: Students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II brought pride to the institution by securing 12 medals including 4 Gold, 4 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals in the prestigious Bhartiya Sanskriti Gyan Pariksha organized by Gayatri Teerth, Shantikunj, Haridwar.
