4-day International Festival of World Peace begins


 Lucknow, April 6 : The International Festival of World Peace, 'Confluence 2022' opened this evening with a grand inaugural ceremony. Confluence 2022 is being organized by City Montessori School, Indira Nagar Campus. CMS President and MD, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon inaugurated the function ceremoniously. In her address, she said that knowledge is a powerful tool that empowers a person. However, to avoid misuse of this knowledge, it is important to impart peace education to children. It is of utmost importance to  inculcate good human values in children and sow in their tender minds, the seeds of unity and peace.

            Confluence-2022" is being organized from 6 to 9 April in which students from more than 35 schools of India and Russia are participating. Various interesting and informative competitions will be held for the participating students during the next three days of the event. The competitions include My Dream Canvas (Poster Making), Rhythmic Taal (Choreography), Derechos Humanos (A Service Project), Acto de Compasion (A Social Project), Euphoric Trills (English Choir), The Artsy Lens (Photography), World Parliament (Paper Presentation), House(Drama), Dispuntandum (Debate) and Appstract (Video Game Creation) etc.

            At the opening ceremony, CMS students presented scintillating educational-cultural items in honour of participating students and teachers. On this occasion, CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that India is called the 'Jagat Guru' and has given the ideal of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam' to the world. This festival is sure to go a long way in binding the hearts of students as one human race. CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi also blessed the students whereas convenor of 'Confluence-2022' and Principal of CMS Indira Nagar Campus, Mrs Ruchi Bhuwan Joshi expressed heartfelt gratitude to one and all.

Outstanding performance of Akriti Singh of CMS in NEET 2024

Lucknow, June 5: Students of City Montessori School have yet again recorded huge success in the NEET Exams 2024 with as many as 96 of them securing place above the cut off percentage on the national merit list and becoming eligible for admission to top Medical Colleges of India. Among these, Akriti Singh of CMS Kanpur Road Campus scored 701 marks out of a total of 720 marks and secured All India Rank 1597 bringing laurels to the school. 18 CMS students secured 99 percentile and above marks in the aforesaid exam creating history yet again. CMS students win 124 medals including 31 golds in Singapore Maths Challenge

Lucknow, February 14 : The brilliant students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I, have brought glory to Lucknow on the international stage by winning a total of 124 medals, including 31 Gold, 26 Silver, and 67 Bronze medals, in the prestigious Singapore Maths Challenge Olympiad. This international competition witnessed the participation of 36,309 students from 22 countries. Despite the intense competition, CMS students achieved the highest number of medals, showcasing their exceptional talent.
