Additional Chief Secretary, Shri Awanish Awasthi, IAS felicitates CMS toppers


 

Lucknow, 23 August : City Montessori School felicitated its toppers of ISC 2022 today in a grand ceremony here at its Gomtinagar extension auditorium. Four CMS students who secured All India Rank 1 with 99.75% marks in the ISC (Class 12) board exams 2022, namely Akash Srivastava, Aditya Vishnu Jhiwaniya, Fahim Ahmad and Simran Singh were presented cheques of Rs 2 lakhs each while 20 students who secured 99% and above marks were awarded with a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh each. These twenty students who have received Rs 1 lakh each, include Aryan Verma, Devika Sapra, Samar Kumar Srivastava, Ojaswa Sehgal, Mohammad Kaif Khan, Bhavika Srivastava, Naman Mishra, Nilanjana Prakash, Aastha, Agrima Singh, Prakhar Saxena, Shubhanshu Mishra, Ishit Dev Sinha, Nandini Sapra, Satyam Kumar, Shambhavi Verma, Anshika Singh, Aditi Chauhan, Prakarsh Manohar and Shiv Pandey. These 24 students were felicitated in a special ceremony by Shri Awanish Awasthi, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of UP.

            Earlier, the Chief Guest, Shri Awanish Awasthi, IAS inaugurated the meritorious students felicitation function’ by lighting the lamp. In his address on this occasion, Shri Awasthi said that the performance of CMS students in the board exams is exemplary. I am glad that CMS has committed itself for character building and all round development of the students and this is visible in the board exam results of its students. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that CMS is fulfilling its responsibility as a school by providing all three kinds of education, viz. material, human and divine to its students and making them better citizens of the society. CMS Founder Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi; President & MD, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon; and Superior Principal & Head, Quality Assurance and Innovations Department, Ms Susmita Ghose also expressed their views on the occasion.

            The topper of first inter-campus comparative exams of ISC (Class 12) with 93.89% marks, Shubhashi Srivastava of CMS Gomtinagar campus I was also felicitated on this occasion. The highlight of the day was honouring of mothers of these meritorious students who were weighed in fruits and flowers while the fathers and teacher-guardians were honoured by presenting a shawl. In addition, the students who secured top ten positions in the inter-campus first comparative examinations, toppers of various CMS campuses and high achievers of national and international competitions were also felicitated on the occasion.

CMS team bags first prize in Quiz Contest

  Lucknow, 16 February : A team of three meritorious students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I comprising Tashvi Singh, Fiona Abeer Singh and Amol Gupta, brought glory to the institution by winning the first prize in an inter-school quiz competition based on environment and wildlife. This competition was organized under the aegis of Rotary Elite Club, Lucknow. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Shri Hari Om Sharma. CMS students give a strong message of Family Unityon Valentines Day

Lucknow, February 14 : The 58,000 students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School,led by their respective Principals gave a strong message of ‘Family Unity’ by celebrating St Valentine’s Martyrdom Day, as ‘Family Unity Day’. In this series, CMS Rajajipuram Campus II organized 'Family Unity Day' at its well decorated school premises. On this occasion, students of the school presented a series of educational-cultural items highlighting the importance of family unity. The programme began with the school prayer, All Religion Prayer and World Unity Prayer.
