Five-day CISV Asia-Pacific Regional Conference hosted by CMS


 

Lucknow, 13 August : City Montessori School is hosting a five-day CISV Asia-Pacific regional conference from 12th to 16th August at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Delegates who are participating in this conference from New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Philippines and different states of India were accorded a grand welcome on their arrival at Lucknow. This information has come from Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Shri Hari Om Sharma. Shri Sharma informed that this international conference is being organized to facilitate the exchange of views among the delegates and to give a boost to the CISV activities. This experience and exchange of information gained by the delegates would enable them to successfully organize Children's International Summer Village Camps, under which children from different countries live together under one roof for a month.

            Welcoming the delegates here, CMS Founder and President, CISV India Chapter, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that this conference, being hosted by CMS, holds a lot of relevance in the sense that it encourages the spirit of international cooperation, harmony, understanding, friendship, justice, equality and enthusiasm. He expressed confidence that this conference would add a new chapter to the exchange of education and culture on a worldwide scale. On this occasion, the representatives of 6 participating countries of the Asia Pacific Regional Conference said in one voice that education of world unity and world peace is the paramount need of the present time. These representatives said that we have to bring about improvement in our own selves according to the kind of world we want.

CMS students give a strong message of Family Unityon Valentines Day

Lucknow, February 14 : The 58,000 students of all 21 campuses of City Montessori School,led by their respective Principals gave a strong message of ‘Family Unity’ by celebrating St Valentine’s Martyrdom Day, as ‘Family Unity Day’. In this series, CMS Rajajipuram Campus II organized 'Family Unity Day' at its well decorated school premises. On this occasion, students of the school presented a series of educational-cultural items highlighting the importance of family unity. The programme began with the school prayer, All Religion Prayer and World Unity Prayer. CMS tableau to give the message of respect for all religionsat this years Republic Day parade

  Lucknow, January 8 : The CMS tableau to be taken out this Republic Day, on 26th January will give the message of ‘Respect for all religions’ to the general public.
