International Young Mathematicians Convention (IYMC-2018) gets underway at CMS


 

Lucknow, October 10 : The inaugural ceremony of 6-day International Young Mathematicians' Convention (IYMC-2022) organized by City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I was held online today. On this occasion, CMS students presented a scintillating cultural programme in honour of the participating students, teachers and renowned mathematicians from 23 countries of the world. Earlier, the Chief Guest, Mr S. Rajalingam, IAS, DM, Kushinagar unveiled the logo of IYMC-2022 to formally inaugurate the event. Speaking on this occasion, the Chief Guest, Mr Rajalingam, IAS, said that CMS' efforts in bringing young mathematicians to compete on a common platform are indeed praiseworthy.

            It is worth mentioning here that IYMC-2022 is being organized by CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I from 10th to 15th October, 2022 In the inauguration ceremony held today, CMS students presented beautiful educational-cultural programmes like the School Prayer, All-Religion and World Unity Prayer, World Parliament, Choreography, National Anthem etc and won applauds from the audience.            Speaking on the occasion, CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that this event is intended to make children expert mathematicians and world citizens who can differentiate between right and wrong. The mathematics of life teaches us that good deeds yield good results. CMS President & MD, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said that this convention inspires the young generation to share knowledge, think creatively and at the same time, showcase their talent in a healthy competition. CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi and Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, Mrs Abha Anant also addressed the audience and motivated the participants.

Four bright CMS scholars win Gold Medals in Mathematics competition

  Lucknow, September 23 : Four brilliant students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II namely Siddhi Dwivedi, Yati Verma, Dwani Shukla and Abhinav Verma displayed profound knowledge of mathematics and won gold medals in Abacus competition bringing laurels to their school. The competition was organized by Brain Mantra, an Abacus and Vedic Math Learning Institute. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma.
