Function' of Cambridge Section of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus
II, held at the campus auditorium, turned out to be a great success and parents
were thrilled to watch the blooming and blossoming talents of their children on
stage as they sang and danced. The colourful cultural items were greeted with
loud clapping and applause by the eager parents and guardians. Earlier, the Chief
Guest of the function, Dr Roger David Kingdon, Educationist, UK, inaugurated
the function ceremoniously by lighting the lamp of learning. On this occasion,
CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi; CMS President, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon and
other eminent guests registered their presence and motivated the students.Addressing
the gathering on this occasion, the Chief Guest, Dr Roger David Kingdon said
that such cultural and educational programmes are very important for
the all round development of children. This function is inspiring not only for
the children but also for the elders to encourage us to contribute for a
healthy, prosperous and happy world society.CMS Founder and renowned
educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said on this occasion that the concept of
World Peace, World Unity and Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam should be instilled in
children from their early childhood. Therefore, CMS endeavours that each child
gets the concept of world unity and world peace both at home and school. Senior
Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus, Ms Manjit Batra said that we must
start giving education to children from our homes because a loving and divine
atmosphere at home help children attain alround development very rapidly, she
said. Mrs Sangeeta Banerjee, Principal, CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II extended
heartfelt thanks to parents and said that the aim of CMS to make each child
good and smart can only by attained with parents' cooperation.
Lucknow, January 8 : The CMS tableau to be taken out this Republic Day, on 26th January will give the message of ‘Respect for all religions’ to the general public. This inspirational tableau based on the theme ‘Ishwar, Allah, Wahe Guru, Chahe kaho Sri Ram, Malik sabka ek hai, alag-alag hain naam’ will propagate the message to the public to imbibe the spirit of ‘respect for all religions’ and ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam’ and make an appeal for a world order which is full of love, compassion and cooperation.
