CMS students display outstanding sports talents at Mini Sports Day

Lucknow, 26 December : The 'Mini Sports Day Celebration' of City Montessori School, Asharfabad Campus was held with great pomp and show on the sports ground of the school. On this occasion, students of pre-primary and primary mesmerized the audience by displaying their extraordinary sporting skills and spread the message of 'India Fit & Young' through physical fitness activities. The Sports Day commenced with an All Religion and World Unity Prayer. A stiff competition was seen amongst the participants to score medals in various sports competitions and the students gave their best showcasing their strength, stamina, and talent. Students displayed their agility and sporting talents in various types of races and many other interesting games. Parents and guardians of the children also participated in the sports event with great enthusiasm.

               Earlier, the CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr. Jagdish Gandhi inaugurated the ‘Mini Sports Day’ by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Dr. Gandhi said that the sports field brings out human values and makes the students realize their fullest potential. It encourages the spirit of good sportsmanship and virtues of teamspirit, unity and cooperation. Principal of CMS Asharfabad Campus, Mrs Trapti Dwivedi said that such sporting events are necessary for physical and intellectual development of students. Therefore, such events promote cooperation, boost self-confidence and inspire the students to give their best performance.

CMS Station Road Campus organizes Sports Day Sporting talents of little ones enthrall their parents

Lucknow, 10 February : Tiny tots of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus spread the colours of unity in diversity at the Sports Day of their Campus held here today at the Northern Railway Stadium in Charbagh, Lucknow. Talents sprinkled forth through races, drills and fitness exercises performed by students.
